This is a great opportunity for a talented

As a Structural Engineer for MacDonald
International you will be working on a wide range of projects including both
buildings and infrastructure, including stormwater management systems,
residential, commercial and industrial projects and
projects including roadwork design. Previous consulting
experience is advantageous but not essential. You will be
expected to supervise junior staff, be involved in site
assessment and promote the company business.
The ideal candidate
will:
-
Be
a Degree qualified Structural
Engineer having 3-5 years experience with Australian
Codes.

Experience in
use of structural analysis and design software
-
Design and
problem solving skills
-
Interpersonal
and relationship building qualities
-
Have
excellent communication skills and
you will be an ambitious and highly motivated
individual
-
Sound
organisational and priority planning capabilities

As a Programmer for MacDonald international, you will be
responsible for the programming of projects in the
Primavera suite to assist Project Managers to manage
their projects.
Key skills for the role are:
-
Solid experience and knowledge with Primavera P3. MS
Project experience an advantage
-
Experience in developing and maintaining
infrastructure project programmes
-
Handle time scheduling issues, monitor performance,
deal with resource conflicts and other issues
-
Skill in planning and scheduling of large multi -
disciplinary infrastructure projects
-
Analyse complex project planning issues and
interrelationships
-
Sound project management principles
-
Great liaison skills to work with people at all
levels in all of the above areas
-
Substantial interpersonal, negotiation, oral and
written communication skills
The role
will develop, implement and maintain systems for
planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting the
progress and performance of projects, programmes and
portfolios so that the objectives are met within agreed
timeframes.
